The MM Foramen Free bridle was developed by Dutch equine dentist Marcel Michielsen. The bridle and especially the construction of the noseband contribute to less wear on the molars in the lower and upper jaw. The specially designed noseband of the Foramen Free bridle has two anatomical recesses at the bottom in which the padding has been omitted to create space for unhindered free functioning and the passage of nerves and blood vessels. Due to these anatomical recesses, the noseband can then be secured, whereby the dentition remains on the layers in front of the molars where it should be, and nerves and veins can supply feeling and blood to the nasal area. This prevents wear on the molars and promotes the horse's well-being and the rider's safety. If the bit lands between the horse's molars due to a loose noseband, the rider loses control of the horse. The Foramen Free bridle is approved by the KNHS. The noseband has been marked by the FEI as very horse-friendly and approved for all FEI events. The headpiece is also special, anatomically shaped and softly padded. Equipped with a hanging headband. This helps reduce pressure on the horse's ears. Concealed fasteners on cheekpieces and reins. The bridle comes with woven drawstrings
